Sonic.exe (commonly abbreviated "X", for short) is the main antagonist in Sonic.EXE series. He takes form of an ancient entity taking the shape of Sonic the Hedgehog who sends out haunted game discs featuring himself attacking Sonic characters until his soul-rending spell takes full control and makes them his slaves.

Rightburst directed the mod and created its signature Sonic.exe sprites before gathering his team together, customizing some backgrounds, adding creepy Sonic faces (used for jump scare), making a "Majin BF face", as well as assets for slow ending cutscenes (some being drawn manually) and creating logos & making da logos for it all!

TWITTER Razencro, as Main Programming, animated Sonic.exe sprites; created/animated/edited [intro credits video, intro cutscene, too-slow beginning cutscene/endcutscene combo/trailers], as well as drawing assets during cutscenes to edit/animate cutscenes/edite trailers etc...; additionally made story mode menu music (with music/art assets); charted the "endless mode", as well as making all necessary menu assets/scripting changes required in game; also managed/edited other elements within game including: [intro credits video/cutscene].

Making some sound effects (menu sfxs, static sfxs, static note mechanic sounds and game over sounds as well as laugh sounds), editing some backgrounds, making story mode/main menu music, creating too-slow jumpscare images using lua modcharting techniques in "too-slow mode", animating some Majin BFF stuff (including game over sound effects!), animating him by animating her over time sfxs for game over stuff as well as video editor were my responsibilities as my duties for work on game over stuff and video editor were my primary roles.

MarStarBro was the main composer and charted "too slow". Additionally he created various sounds effects including jump scare sound effects (jumpscare sound effect), intro cutscene glitched music/sound and static note glitched coin sounds (to name just some of his talents).

Comgaming_Nz provided main stage backgrounds (too-slow and endless); trailer/cutscene assets [intro cutscene, beginning/ending cutscene], set the style for "Majin Sonic' sprites (draw idle poses of him); set style/tone of characters from trailer n cutscenes for cutscenes/trailer production [intro cutscene, intro/ending/too-slow beginning/ending cutscene].

Zekuta created most of the "Majin Sonic" poses and animated the secret song background animation.

Crybit provided programming support in multiple areas including Story Mode Menu (fixed difficuly selector thing), Sound Test Menu and Main Menu stuff such as cool moving spikies; learning how to change note mid song in endless mode (endless); program starting screens that enabled note change mid song without changing song zoom effects in endless; adding cool starting screens mid song zoom effects endless mode, coded cool Majin Game Over stuff that made Sound Test unlockable/unlock screen unlock; helping add MP4 support, offering options to prevent crashes caused by jumpscare animation as well as make note spin thingy endless mode!

Essentially, this web optimized port's purpose is to make FNF and this mod more accessible for players that couldn't otherwise access it due to limited or nonexistent computer resources - whether that means potato PC users, Chromebook owners, Mac owners, Linux users or simply people without EXE files on their systems.

If you want an extra challenge, switch off Ghost Tapping in the settings.
