Kalimba History:
The kalimba was popularized commercially during the 1950s through mbira - an African music instrument common among Shona people of Zimbabwe for over one millennium! Mbira can have more keys, different tunings, or percussive ornaments; Keylimba mimics an appearance similar to an 10 key Hugh Tracey kalimba.

Keylimba features sound recordings taken directly from my real kalimba which was gifted to me by Amanda (dedicated here!) who inspired Keylimba!
