FNF draws players into an immersive musical and rhythm game world where music reigns supreme and rhythm rules supreme. You find yourself immersed in this captivating music-rhythm game as you battle against your girlfriend's father - an experienced musician - in intense rhythm competitions to prove to him who's superior singer is! Your goal? Conquer his approval while winning her heart!

To achieve success in these rhythmic competitions, pressing the arrows at just the right moment to produce sounds and keep up a constant beat throughout each song is key if you wish to impress your opponents and secure victory. Missing as few notes possible is essential if you hope to beat off their challenges and secure victory!

Friday Night Funkin' features an engaging story mode spanning seven weeks, each offering new rap battles against different opponents - from Daddy Dearest and Skid to Pump and Pico; each character offers their own set of challenges that must be met without missing a beat! Can you complete all battles successfully to ensure victory over all?

Friday Night Funkin' provides players of all skill levels an experience tailored to them with three difficulty settings to select from and an exceptional hard mode, plus freeplay mode which enables each song to be practiced individually.

No matter where life takes you - be it home, on Chromebook or even at school (during free time!), Friday Night Funkin' and its most beloved mods can be enjoyed for free online! Friday Night Funkin' debuted as part of Newgrounds' Ludum Dare 47 game jam on October 5, 2020, an established game development competition featuring 6 songs to start! Beginning as an 8 week tutorial with two weeks and six songs available to choose from - players assume the role of boyfriend trying to win over their beloved in an engaging musical battle!

Friday Night Funkin' captivated players from its initial release with its infectious beats and engaging gameplay, quickly garnering widespread acclaim due to its catchy tunes and engaging rhythms. Following its initial success, its content expanded further; adding 5 additional weeks, 15 new songs, and multiple characters into its roster.

Friday Night Funkin' is unique due to its open source nature, which fosters an active and creative community. Story: Whilst playing as the "Boyfriend", your objective will be to prove himself worthy of dating your "Girlfriend". Sing and rap battles against an array of different characters including her Father and Mother can serve as great tests of manliness!
